This educational opportunity allows the youth of our region to participate in professional quality theatrical productions while learning the many aspects of live theatre performance. These aspects include auditioning, the rehearsal process, character creation, stage presence, and special design elements projects with costuming and prop creation.
We encourage students of all skill levels and experience to participate! Students ages 7-18 are eligible. This unique opportunity allows students that have participated in other youth productions of KRT to mentor and encourage their younger peers.
Prior theatre experience is not required! We welcome students of all experiences to our program. All registrants are guaranteed a role in the production. Technical and crew positions are also open to those students interested in working backstage. Registrants are expected to follow KRT's Code of Conduct.
Each production hosts almost three dozen participants with recent casts from all over North and Central Kentucky. Space is limited. We invite you to join us! Register today!
